MARGARET ROBERTS. SLATINGTON, LEHIGH, PENNSYLVANIA.
Mrs. Margaret Roberts of Slatington, Pennsylvania, passed away early Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. May Jones, with whom she redided, following a short illness with pneumonia.Mrs. Roberts was born in Wales, coming to this country when she was about 20 years of age.
The survivors are the daughter mentioned above and several grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The funeral services were held Friday afternoon and the body taken Friday by train to Slatington, where burial took place. Friends extend sympathy to Mrs. Jones and family in their bereavement.

After an illness of several days of pneumonia, Mrs. Margaret O. Roberts, widow of David J. Roberts, and former resident of Slatington, died at 2:50 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. May Jones, at Hampton New York. She was aged 76 years, 7 months and 26 days. Mrs. Roberts was born in Wales and came to this country as a young girl.Up until 3 months ago, when she went to make her home with her daughter, she resided at 37 Second street. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jones, 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Benjamin Kendig and Mrs. F. Rodney Dirkes of Lynnbrook, Long Island, New York, and 8 grandchildren.
The body will be taken to Slatington and placed in charge of Funeral Director, David Heinzelman and arrangements for the funeral will be made today.
