CADWALLADER R. JONES. WILKES BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY, VERMONT.

The death of Cadwallader R. Jones occurred May 30, at Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, following many months of ill health. Mr. Jones was born in Wales, June 21st, 1881, the son of Richard and Margaret Jones. He was married to Miss Mary Hughes, April 24th, 1901 and they located to Pennsylvania where they resided for 35 years. Two years ago they came to Granville on account of Mr. Jones' health, but last fall returned to Pennsylvania.

The survivors are his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Engle and Mrs. Harry Finley and one son, Richard Jones, all of Wilkes Barre; also his mother, who is 83 years of age; five sisters, Mrs. Vincent Price, Mrs. Robert R. Roberts, Mrs. John Humphrey, Mrs. Ralph E. Fuller and Mrs. Owen Parry and nieces and nephews.

The funeral services were well attended at the Welsh Congregational Church at Wilkes Barre, of which he had been a deacon for many years. Deacons and trustees of the church acted as bearers. There were many beautiful floral pieces.

All of the sisters of the deceased attended the funeral services; also Mrs. Marge Jones of Jersey City, widow of Mr. Jones's deceased brother.

Mr. Jones leaves many friends in Granville who will be saddened to hear of his death.
