MR. THOMAS E. PRITCHARD. FAIR HAVEN, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.

Largely attended funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon for Thomas E. Pritchard, well known Businessman, at the Welsh Congregational Church with the Rev. John D. Owen, pastor officiating.

Mr. Pritchard died suddenly of a heart attack while at work on Satyrday morning. He was born in Bethesda, North Wales, April 4th, 1877, a son of the late Ellis and Ellen Pritchard. Mr. Pritchard has been employed by the Grand Union Tea Company for thirty years. Previous to this, he was employed as a stone cutter in Quincy, Massachusetts, and in the slate quarries around Fair Haven. He was a member of the Welsh Congregational church, Odd Fellows Lodge, Holly Rebekah Lodge, and was deacon of the Welsh Congregational church.

Mr. Pritchard is survived by his wife, a son Raymond and by two brothers, John Ellis Pritchard of Pomfret Center, Connecticut, and William Pritchard of this town.

Pall bearers were R. Temple Jones, Owen W. Roberts, Robert H. Williams, Griffith Closs and William T. Roberts.

Several Welsh Hymns were sung by the congregation assisted at the organ by Mrs. Olwen Edwards. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Many beaytiful flowers were received by the family from friends, neighbors, relatives and many organisations.

Among those from out of town to attend the funeral were Mr. Richard Jones of Quincy, Massechusetts, Mr. John E. Pritchard of Pomfret Center, Coneecticut, Mr. and Mrs. Llewellyn Morris, Mrs. Hugh Lewis, Mr. Richard Glyn Williams, Mr. William Edwards, Mr. Evan Glyn Williams, Mrs. Ezra Roberts and Mrs William Owen of Poultney, Mr. John LLoyd and son, Cadlan of Sprinfield, Vermont, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Parry and Mrs. Stephen Thomas of Granville.
