ANN ROBERTS ROWLANDS. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.

The death of Mrs. Urias Ann Rowlands of Granville, 63, occurred Tuesday at 5:05 o'clock in the afternoon in the Albany hospital, where she had been taken from the Stevens hospital, two weeks previous, following a nine day illness.

Mrs. Rowlands was born August 5th, 1874, at Carnarvon, North Wales, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rowland Roberts. She was married at Liverpool, England, to Urias J. Rowlands. They resided at Liverpool, later coming to America and settling in Granville.

She was an active member of the Welsh Congregational church and the Women's Benefir association. She possessed an unusually sunny difposition with a smile for all with whom she came in contact. She was a loving wife and mother and will be deeply missed in the home; also by a large number of friends.

The survivors are the husband and one daughter; Mrs H. Austin Sheldon (Peggy) of Albany and three sons, William of Middlesborough, England, Hugh of Wales and Frank Rowlands of Buffalo; also grandchildren, Peggy, Mona and Nan of Wales and four sisters, Mrs. Samuel Williams, Mrs. Richard Jones, Mrs. Robert Evans and Mrs. Edward Evans.

The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Welsh Congregational Church, Rev. Richard Owens of Fair Haven, officiating.

The internment will be at athe Mettowee Cemetery in Granville.

The funeral services for Mrs. Urias Rowlands of Granville, whose death occurred Tuesday of last week at the Albany hospital, were held Friday at the Welsh Congregational Church of which she was a faithful member, Rev. John L. Owens of Fair Haven officiating. During the services, the congregation sang several of her favorite hymns.

The burial was in the Mettowee Cemetery in Granville.

The bearers were the following : Evan Williams, Thomas Roberts, Herbert Bruce, Hugh Griffith, David Morris and Will E. Roberts.
