SARAH G. ROBERTS. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.
The death of Mrs. Sarah G. Roberts of Morrison Avenue, Granville, widow of John H. Roberts, occurrred Monday morning at 12:30 o'clock at her home follwoing a week's illness.She was born in Wales Jume 10th, 1872, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh G. Jones. She came to this country and located in Granville 44 years ago where she has since made her home. She was devoted to her home and family.
The survivors include two sons, Stanley and Clifford Roberts of Granville; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Brooks of Pawlet and Mrs. Charlotte Jones of Granville and several grandchildren.
The funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, Rev. Ellis Lloyd pastor of the Granville Presbyterian Church officiated with an impressive service. There were many beautiful flowers.
The bearers were David Pritchard, John Foster Thomas, Thomas Rowlands, Evan Williams, William Edwards and Owen Roberts. The internment was in the Mottawee Cemetery.
