MRS. GRACE ELLEN WILLIAMS. GRANVILLE, NEW YORK.
Mrs. Grace Ellen Williams, widow of John R. Williams, whose death occurred 10 years ago, passed away at her home on Bulkeley avenue, after failing health for some time.Mrs. Williams was born August 12th, 1867, in Bethesda, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones. She came to America in 1885 and settled in Slatington, Pennsylvania, for 20 years.. She later came to Granville, where she had resided for the past 29 years.
The survivors are two daughters, Catherine Williams and Mrs. Robert L. Jones; one sister, Hannah Griffith of Tregarth, Wales, and five grand children; also a son in law, Merle Ingleston, who has made his home with her for several years.
Thr funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at the Welsh Congregational church at 2 o'clock, Rev. John D. Owens of Fair Haven officiating, assisted by Rev. Mr. Guyer and Rev. Mr. Lloyd. The bearers will be Evan Williams, Thomas Rowlands, William Hughes, Richard Davies, Lewis Jones and Richard Pritchard. The burial will be held at the Mettowee cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was a kind and loving mother and will be greatly missed in the home.
