ANNIE MARGARET JONES. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.

The death of Mrs. Owen J. Jones of Potter Avenye, Granville, occurred Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock. She had been in poor health for the past three years when she suffered a stroke.

Mrs. Jones was born in the town of Carnarvon, North Wales and would have been 55 years of age in July. She was the daughter of Robert Roberts and Jane Morris Roberts. She came to America during the summer of 1914 where she was married to Owen J. Jones, the ceremony taking place in Fair Haven. They resided there for a year after which they came to Granville, where they made their home. Several years later they made a visit to their netive home in Wales, returning to Granville in 1922.

During the World War they resided in several different places including Ilion, Hartfoed, Connecticut and Camden, New Jersey.

Besides the husband, she is survived by one daughter, Miss Jennie Jones, a graduate of Plattsburg Normal and a supply teacher at the Granvill high school; also one brother, Thomas R. Roberts of Carnarvon, North Wales and a sister, Mrs. Samuel Jones of North Wales.

Mrs. Jones who had been a great sufferer has been tenderly cared for by her husband and daughter during her failing health.

She was an active member of the Welsh Congregational Church until her health failed and a member and officer of the Ladies Aid Society of the Church. She possessed sterling qualities, a loyal and dependable friend. She was greatly devoted to her family and home, where she will be greatly missed, also by a large circle of friends.

The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home, Rev. John D. Owens of Fair Haven and Rev. Ellis Lloyd of Granville officiating. The burial will be at the Mettowee Valey Cemetery.
