WINIFRED O. JONES. MIDDLE GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON, NEW YORK.
Mrs. Winifred O. Jones of New York, widow of the late D. C. Jones, died at her home in Flushibg, Long Island, last week, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Owen (Glanmarchlyn), who resided many years in Granville. Her departed sisters were Mrs. Priscilla Evans and Mrs. John Williams of Brooklyn.She is survived by one sister, who resides in Chicago and four daughters, Mrs. R. Smith, Mrs. Edmond Galer, Mrs. Arthur Bensen and Miss Elizabeth Jones of the school faculty at Woodside, and one son, Gomer, all of whom were present at the funeral services; also her nephew Wendell Evans.
Mrs. Jones possessed a fine character, loved by her many friends, who will mourn her passing.
The funeral services were in charge of her pastor of the Community church, where she was a member. The funeral party motored here Saturday where she was laid to rest in the family plot in Elmwood cemetery and a profusion of beautiful flowers marked her grave.
