ANN JONES. GRANVILLE WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.

The death of Mrs. Ann Roberts, 63, occirred Sunday, November 10th, at home, 35 West Main Street, Granville. She had been suffering with heart trouble for the past year.

Mrs. Roberts was born in Wales, November 11th, 1877, the daughter of John R. Jones and Elizabeth Roberts Jones. She came to this country from Wales at the age of twenty-eight years. She had been a resident of Granville most of the time since.

She was married to Robert G. Roberts, December, whose death occurred about eight years ago. The survivors are, three sons, Hogb H. Roberts, George and Robert D. Roberts all of Granville, Miss Sally Roberts and Mrs. Jane Bowen, also of Granville; three grandchildren and five sisters; Mrs. Richard Williams of Granville, Mrs. Owen D. Roberts and Mrs. John Williams, Fair Haven, Mrs. Lynn Lloyd of Whitehall and Mrs. Edward Owens of Watervliet.

She had been an active member of Trinity Episcopal church and served organisations including the Women's Benefir association and the Ladies Foresters.

Mrs Roberts was devoted to her family and will be sadly missed in the home as well as by a large circle of friends.

The funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon with a prayer at the home at 1:30 and service at 2 o'clock at the church, Rev. S. Jenkins and rev. Ellis Lloyd officiating. Two hymns were sung with Mr. William R. Thomas as organist, who also played the funeral music. The church was filled to capacity.

The bearers were Robert Jones and five nephews, John Richard Williams, Harold Williams, Alfred Roberts, Llewelyn Roberts and John Richard Roberts. The burial was in Mettowee cemetery in the family plot where the grave was marked by many floral tributes from family, friends and organisations.
