MR. WILLIAM LLOYD, SYRACUSE, ONONAGA, NEW YORK.

William Lloyd, 64, Collapses; Dies on Way to Hospital.

Found sitting near collapse on the runningboard of a parked automobile in the 400 block of South Salina Street yesterday afternoon, William Lloyd, 64, of 148 Fitch Street, died before police could get him to St. Joseph's Hospital in a private car.

He was able only to gasp out his address, "148 Fitch Street," before he died en route to the hospital police said, and his identity was established only after police went to his home and informed his family of his death.

The body was taken to the county morgue to await completion of funeral arrangements. Coroner H. Ernest Gak ascribed Mr. Lloyd's death to a heart condition, with which he apparently was stricken while walking near the parked car on which he was found sitting.
