WILLIAM JOHN PRITCHARD. POULTNEY, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
William J. Pritchard, 80, passed away early Tuesday morning after a lingering illness.He was born August 31st, 1859 at Llanberis, North Wales and came to Fair Haven, Vermont, 60 years ago. Later he came and settled in South Poultney and had been a resident of that town since. Mrs. Pritchard passed away 34 years ago.
The survivors are one daughter, Mrs. John W. Roberts and two sons, Emrys Pritchard and H. Roslyn Pritchard, one brother Henry Pritchard residing in Wales and one sister Mrs. Margaret Parry, Olyphant, Pennsylvania; also several nieces and nephews, all residing in Penssylvania.
The funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at South Poultney Welsh Church with burial in Hillside cemetery, Poultney.

The funeral services for William J. Pritchard were held Thursday afternoon at the South Poultney Welsh Church, Rev. Lemuel Jones officiating.The bearers were William M. Griffiths, Owen J. Jones, William J. Morris, Hugh R. Hughes, Meirion Jones and John W. Owens.
There were many floral tributes sent from Rising and Nelson company officials, South Poultney community, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Those present from out of town were : Mrs. Margaret Parry, Thomas and Evan Parry, Mrs. Thomas Watkins, Olyphant, Pennsylvania; Mrs. Jessie Pritchard, Albany; Mrs. John Thomas, Fair Haven.
The burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Poultney.
