JANE WILLIAMS OWEN. UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
Mrs. Jane Owen, widow of Thomas J. Owen, died December 23rd, 1941, at the home of her son, John G. Owen, 1847 Seymour, after a brief illness.She was born January 7th, 1858, in Bethesda, North Wales, where her marriage took place.
The couple came to America and in Utica in 1910.
Mr. Owen died nine years ago.
Mrs. Owen was a member of Moriah Church and Sunday School and of the societies and was an associate member of Gwenfron Lodge, Order of True Ivorites.
She is survived by her son with whom she made her home, by a foster-daughter, Mrs. Daniel Williams, Oakland, California, two foster-sons, Hugh Owen, Union, S. C., and Thomas J. Owen, Manchester, Eng.; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Williams, Bethesda, North Wales; two grandsons and several cousins.
The funeral will be from her home at 2 p. m. Friday.
