JOHN MORGAN ROBERTS. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.

The death of John Morgan Roberts, 56, of Pine Street, Granville, occurred Sunday morning about 5 o'clock following poor health for the past year.

Mr. Roberts was born in Wales, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Roberts. He married Miss Sarah Roberts in Wales following which they came to America and had resided in Granville for the past 34 years. He was a slate maker by occupation.

The survivors include his wife and sons, John Roberts Jr., Idwal Roberts, Colwyn Roberts and Richard Roberts; three daughters, Mrs. Benjamin Waters of Whitehall, Miss Lillian Roberts and Miss Eleanor Roberts, Granville, also two brothers and five sisters in Wales, besides nieces and nephews.

The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home at 2 o'clock, Rev. Henry Hughes of the Welsh Congregational Church officiating. The burial was in Mettowee Valley Cemetery, Granville.

The bearers were Agelbert Cline, William Hughes, John Williams, Richard Pritchard, Owen Owens and John Hughes. Two solos were rendered by Richard T. Roberts.

Mr. Roberts had many friends in Granville who mourn his passing and extend sympathy to the bereaved family.
