ELIZABETH THOMAS.. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.

The death of Mrs. Stephen Thomas, 74, occurred at her home on the Middle Granville Road, Sunday April 19th, following ill health for about two years.

Mrs. Thomas was born February 10th, 1868, at Bangor, North Wales, the daughter of William and Anne Owens Thomas. When a young woman she came to America.

June 20th, 1894, she married Stephen Thomas at Granville and fourteen years of their married life was spent in New York City, after which they came to Granville to live.

She was a faithful member of the Congregational church of Granville and the Ladies Aid Society. She was always in attendance at services when health permitted and was an untiring worker in all church activities.

The survivors are her husband and one sister, Mrs. Jane Hughes of Granville, two brothers, Thomas Thomas of Bangor, Pennsylvania and William Thomas of Ilion, besides several nieces and nephews.

The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Congregational Church, Rev. Henry Hughes, pastor officiating. During the services Ernest Morris sang, "Going Home." The internment was in Mettowee Valley Cemetery. The following were bearers : Harry K. Williams, Willis Curtis, Nelson Jenkins, Harry John Williams, Owen J. Jones and William O. Owens.

Mrs. Thomas had many friends who mourn her passing and extend sincere sympathy to Mr. Thomas in his loss.
