Mrs. Edward M. Chase, 67, formerly of 326 Cooper, died April 14th, 1943, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles H. Hughes, 37 Sanger, New Hartford. She had been ill for some time.
Anna Rees was born in Wales, February 18th, 1876, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Evan O. Rees.
She was a former resident of Rome but had lived 28 years in Utica, where she was a member of Temple Chapter 300, OES, the WBA and Grace Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Earl Anson, Rome, and Mrs. Hughes; a son Stephen E., Utica; a sister, Mrs. Frank Belius, Syracuse and four granchildren.
