HUGH H. PARRY. POULTNEY, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
Hugh Parry, 63, died at 4:30 Monday morning at his home in South Poultney, following a long illness.Mr. Parry was born in Wales, and with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Parry, came to the United States and resided in Fair Haven.
Surviving him are his wife, the former jennie L. Jones of South Poultney and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Roberts of Pittsford, Vermont, Mrs Margaret Thomas of Fair Haven, Mrs. Waldo Cannon, Mrs. Eleanor Warren of lee, Massachusetts and Mrs. Reed Northup of Richfield, Connecticut; also several nieces and nephews.
A resident of Rutland until two years ago, Mr. Parry was employed by the Central Vermont Public Service Corporation, a position he had held for 30 years.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his late home.
Burial was in Poultney Cemetery.
