ROBERT G. WILLIAMS. FAIR HAVEN, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
The death of Robert G. Williams (Bob Bryn) of Poultney occurred March 28th at the home of Miss Susanna Metcalf in the north part of the town of Poultney, where he had made his home for many years.Mr. Williams was in his 81st. year. He was born in Tregarth, Caernarvonshire, North Wales. He came to this country in 1888 and worked for the Eureka Slate Company during all of his active years in this country. He never married. His nearest survivors are nieces and nephews in Wales.
Funeral services were held at the Durfee Funeral Home in Fair Haven on Friday at 2 o'clock, Rev. John D. Owens officiated. The bearers were Benjamin Williams of Proctor, John Williams of Poultney, Patrick Carroll of North Poultney Charles Metcalf of Hydeville and William H. Williams and Owen W. Roberts of Fair Haven.
Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
