DANIEL GRIFFITH. ILION, NEW YORK.

Daniel Griffith died at Ilion, New York, Tuesday, June 5th. He was taken ill May 8th and was taken to the Ilion Hospital where he lingered for four weeks.

Born in Bethesda, North Wales, the son of the late William and Ann Griffith, he came to America as a young boy and lived in Granville for many years.

During World War I he moved to Ilion with his parents and remained there until death.

Mr. Griffith was a member od the Loyal Order of Moose, who attended in a body Thursday evening to pay their last respects. Funeral services were held from Whiter's Funeral Home at Ilion on Friday and the remains were laid to rest at Crown Point cemetery, Utica.

Those left to mourn his loss are four sisters, Catherine Roberts of Albany, Margaret Davis of Granville, Anna Jones of Utica and Elizabeth Thomas of Ilion; two brothers, Owen of Slatington, Pennsylvania and William of Ilion; also several nieces and nephews.
