KATHERINE 'KATE' WILLIAMS JONES. HANOVER, LUZARNE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA.
Mrs. Katherine Jones, 83, died early yesterday morning at her home, 109 East Main Street, Plymouth, following a lingering illness of general debility.She was the widow of Thomas Jones, who died in 1919.
Mrs. Jones was born in Wales and had been a resident of Plymouth for the past 40 years. She was a member of the Gaylord Avenue Welsh Presbyterian Church, Plymouth. Surviving are these children, Nellie, manager of the Plymouth Triangle Shoe Store, and William, Plymouth; Mrs. Thomas Lewis, Kingston; Hugh and Albert, Wilkes-Barre; Elmer, Plymouth, and Stanley, Washington, D. C. Thirteen grandchildren, eight of whom are in the armed forces, and one great-grandchild also survive.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 from the funeral home, 114 West Main Street, Plymouth, with Rev. Dr. W. Russell Straw of Gaylord Avenue Welsh Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Ashley.
