DAVID MORRIS WILLIAMS. UPLAND, DELAWARE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA.

David M. Williams, 51, died Friday morning in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, where he had been employed as a war worker. A resident of Granville, Mr. Williams died following a week's illness.

He was a veteran of World War I and served overseas for 18 months with the Canadian Army. He was a member of Granville Post, American Legion.

Survivors are his wife, the former Nellie Davies; a daughter, Miss Catherine M. Williams; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William R. Williams, all of Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania; five brothers, Sgt. Elwyn Williams in the Aleutians; William R. Williams, this village; Richard, Myrick and Francis Williams; four sisters, Mrs. William Joyce, Mrs. Venice Beecham, Mrs. Ceinwen Lyons and Mrs. Dorothy Scully, all of Marcus Hook; and several nieces and nephews.

The body was brought to the home of his brother, William R. Williams, Madison Street, where funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m.. The Rev. Henry Hughes, pastor of the Congregational church, officiated. Ernest Morris sang "Abide with Me" in English and "Lead, Kindly Light" in Welsh. Internment was in Mettowee cemetery. Taps were sounded by Carl Hall. Members of Granville Post, American Legion, attended in a body.

Bearers were John W. Evans, Morris Williams, Owen Parry, John O. Edwards, Samuel Bloom and Edmund Lloyd.

Relatives attending from out of town included Mr. and Mrs. William R. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams, Myrick and and Francis Williams, Mrs. Venice Beecham, Mrs. Dorothy Scully and son, Mrs. Elwyn Williams and Mrs. Kate Williams, all of Pennsylvania; Mr. and Mrs. David Williams, Miss Kate Williams, Ann Williams, Mrs. Ted Roberts, Mrs. Henry Haley and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Williams of Utice; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Reese, Edward Pierce, Mrs. William Jones, Francis Williams, John F. Williams, Willard Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Williams and Mrs Baptie of North Poultney.
