SOUTH POULTNEY. November 15.
Ednyfed Thomas of South Poultney died at 1 o'clock this morning.

He was born in Dinorwic, North Wales, and had lived here for the past 38 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen Thomas; a daughter Mrs. Richard J. Roberts of South Poultney; a son, Thomas W. Thomas of Flushing; a brother Idwal Thomas, and a sister, Mrs. Ceridwen Roberts, both of Dinorwic, North Wales; a grandson, and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock at the Thomas home. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery in Poultney.

Funeral services for Ednyfed Thomas of South Poultney were held Sunday afternoon at his late home with burial in Hillside cemetery in Poultney. The Rev. Ira Stanton, pastor of the Granville Baptist church officiated at the house and at the graveside.

The bearers were Owen J. Jones, Richard M. Williams, of South Poultney, Emrys Pritchard of Poultney, Williams R. Williams of Granville, William M. Jones of Stamford, Connecticut and Jacob Spaeth of College Point, Long Island.

Mr. Thomas who had been seriously ill for several days passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday morning at 1:00 o'clock.

He was born in Dinorwic, North Wales and came to this country 38 years ago spending the entire time in South Poultney.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Thomas, one daughter, Mrs. Richard J. Roberts; one son, Thomas W. Thomas of Flushing, one grandson, a brother, Idwal Thomas and a sister Mrs. Ceridwen Roberts in Dinorwic, also several nieces and nephews.
