THOMAS PARRY WILLIAMS. UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
Thomas Parry Williams, 68, 127 Louisa, died in St. Elizabeth Hospital, July 28th, 1946, after an illness of three years.Mr. Williams was born in Wales September 17th, 1877, son of the late Thomas P. and Anna Griffiths Williams. He came to the United States about 60 years ago.
He had lived in Rome for 12 years, in Clinton 28 years and for the last 18 years made his home in Utica. He married Alice M. Vizor May 17th, 1899, in Rome.
He was employed by the New York Central Railroad in the mail department and retired three years ago. Mr. Williams was a member of the Clinton Methodist Church and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Surviving, besides his wife, are one son, Robert H. Williams, Clinton; one daughter, Mrs. Bradley Benton, Utica; four sisters, Miss Harriet Williams and Mrs. Sol Williams, Utica; Mrs. Charles Bartell, New York City; Mrs. Robert Boyd, Oxford; one brother, Robert J. Williams, Watervliet, two granddaughters and two grandsons.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday from the John J. Langdon Funeral Chapel, 630 Varick, the Rev. Herbert D. Loomis of Clinton Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Clinton.
