Owen M. Parry, 60 years old, formerly of Granville, died suddenly Easter Sunday morning at his home in New York as he went about to leave to attend church. Mr. Parry had been in poor health for the past year.He is survived by his wife, Mamie H. Parry, also two brothers, Griffith Parry of Granville and John L. Williams of Albany, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in New York Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon at the McHenry and Roberts Funeral home in Granville with Rev. Glyn Williams and rev. R. Lewis Jones officiating.
Burial was in the Mettowee cemetery. The bearers were Henry, Edwal and Emlyn Parry and John Owens.
