GRIFFITH J. MORRIS. POULTNEY, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.

The death of Griffith J. Morris occurred at his home in Brooklyn after a long period of ill health. His body was brought to Poultney on Wednesday.

Mr. Morris lived in Poultney for several years and married Grace Edmunds of Poultney, who survives, also one daughter, Miss Olwen Morris, who was born in Poultney, both residing in Brooklyn. He is also survived by one sister in Wales.

Funeral services were held at the Roberts Funeral home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Lemuel Jones officiating. Bearers were Rowland Whittington, Hugh Jones, Howell R. Roberts and Thomas Jones. Burial was in Poultney cemetery.
