GRANVILLE, NEW YORK, November 25th. In observance of their golden wedding anniversary, which was celebrated Wednesday, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Evans of 5 Lincoln street, Granville, entertained Thanksgiving Day at a family dinner, at which 22 members of the family were present.

They were born in Bethesda, North Wales, and have resided in Granville for the past 32 years. They have six sons and daughters, Edward J. Evans, Stephen Evans, Mrs. Emily Roberts, Mrs. Stanley Roberts, Mrs, William R. Williams and Miss Charlotte Evans, all of Granville.

On the occassion of the golden milestone, they received many gifts, flowers, cards, and received many friends. Dinner guests yesterday included, Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Evans, Howard M. and Doris Jean Evans, Mr. and Mrs Stephen Evans, Mrs. Emily Roberts, Miss Florence Roberts, Evelyn and Eleanor Roberts, Mr. and Mrs William R. Williams, Gordon, Raymond and Kenneth David Williams, Mr. and Mrs Stanley Roberts, Miss Charlotte Evans; Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Thomas, all of Granville.

HANNAH THOMAS. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON CO, NEW YORK.

Mrs. Hanna Thomas, 80, died at her home at 5 Lincoln Street, Wednesday, October 13th, at 10:30 a.m. She was born in Bethesda, North Wales, and had been a resident of Granville for the past 40 years. She was a member of Peniel Presbyterian church and a True Ivorite. Survivors are two sons, Edward J. and Stephen; four daughters, Mrs. Emily Roberts, Mrs. William R. Williams, Mrs. Stanley Roberts and Miss Charlotte Evans, all of Granville; eight grandchildren, Mrs. Kenneth Jones of Philadelphia, and the following from Granville, Evelyn and Ellinor Roberts, Howard and Jean Evans, Gordon, Raymond and Kenneth Williams; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. from the residence with the Rev. R. Lewis Jones of Ballston Spa, officiating. Internment was in Mettowee cemetery. The bearers were, Thomas Pickering, John Harris, Richard L. Pritchard, Hugh M. Evans, Emrys Lewis and William M. Owens.
