DAVID D. EVANS. GRANVILLE WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.
David D. Hughes, 79, died at the Ilion hospital, October 25th. He was born in Festiniog, Wales.Fifty five years ago he was married to Elizabeth Jones (Ty'n Pistyll), who died ten years ago.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Elizabeth Roberts; one sister, Annie Hughes of Wales.
Mr. Hughes was brought to Granville for burial in the Mettowee cemetery where services at the grave were conducted by the Rev. Lewmuel Jones of Poultney.
Those who accompanied the body from Ilion were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Roberts, and Miss Jane Jones, Mrs. William J. Thomas of Detroit, and also John R. Jones of Granville. He was called to Ilion by his illness; Mr. and Mrs. John Humphrey, Little Falls; Mrs. David Williams, Gladys Roberts and Margaret Williams.
