Mrs. Ellen Hughes, 69, died Monday morning at her home, 8 Pacific Street.She is survived by her husband, Griffith P. Hughes, a daughter, Mrs. Laura Hughes, Quincy, Massachusetts; a grandaughter Nancy Hughes and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the home, with the rev. Maldwyn Davies, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiating.
Internment will be in Mettowee cemetery.
