ROBERT JAMES ROBERTS. POULTNEY, RUTLAND, VERMONT.
Richard J. Roberts died at his home, in South Poultney, Saturday night after a long illness.He was born in Cwm y Glo, Caernarvonshire, North Wales, son of Catherine and John Roberts (Mur Moch).
Mr. Roberts came to this country 49 years ago and had been engaged as a quarryman until his retirement in 1947, due to ill health.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three step-sons, Richard J. Roberts, South Poultney, Thomas J. Roberts, of the U.S. Army in Austria, and William Lewis; one brother, Hugh J. Roberts, Slatington, Pennsylvania, three nephews, John H. and Richard H. Roberts of Slatington, Pennsylvania and Thomas J. Roberts, Glens Falls.
