THOMAS RICHARD WILLIAMS. ALBANY, ALBANY COUNTY, NEW YORK.

The death of Thomas R. Williams, 84, formerly of Poultney, occurred Wednesday, February 15th, at the home of his daughter, Mrs George Felker of Albany.

Mr. Williams had been a resident of North Poultney for many years, where he was an industrious worker, following the life of a quarryman, until his health compelled him to retire. In 1948 he sold his home and went to Albany to reside with his children, and has been tenderly cared for by Mrs. Felker during his long illness.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Owens; four daughters, Mrs. Edward Aston and Mrs. Felker of Albany, Mrs. Robert Baptie of East Poultney and Mrs. Eleanor Jones of Fort Edward; five sons, Morris, Robert, Thomas and Malcolm of Albany, and Benjamin of Bridport; a brother William Williams of Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Mrs. Evan Jones od Asbestos, Quebec and Mrs. Price Jones of Wales; also 26 grandchildren.

The body was brought to the Roberts Funeral Home on Wednesday and the funeral was held on Saturday at the Welsh Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John D. Owens of Fair Haven officiating.

Burial was in Poultney Cemetery.
