The funeral of Mrs. John D. Roberts which was held at the Ellis Funeral Parlors in Schenectady last Monday night was conducted by the Rev. R. Lewis Jones of Ballston Spa.

Mrs. Roberts was born April 28th, 1878, in Bethesda, Wales. At the age of ten she came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rowland T. Williams. She attended the Old Church Street school.

In 1897 she was married to John D. Roberts and lived for some time in Granville, and then for 43 years they resided in Schenectady.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of the St. David's Society of Schenectady and a member of the First Methodist church, and also belonged to the Rebekah Lodge.

There was a profusion of flowers from friends and relatives. Burial was in the Mettowee Valley Cemetery, Granville, Tuesday.
