THOMAS CLOSS WILLIAMS. POULTNEY, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
POULTNEY, September 21st, - Thomas C. Williams, 86, died today at his home on Grove street.He was born in Bethesda, North Wales, April 15th, 1865, the son of John and Jane (Closs) Williams.
He married Mary Williams at the Bethesda church, December 24th, 1891.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert R. Jones of Poultney and Mrs. Earl Beebee of Fair Haven; two sons, John C., of West Hartford, Conn., and Ivor of Springfield, Mass.; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Welsh Presbyterian church here Sunday at 2.30 p.m. The Rev. D. C. Davis of Waterville, New York, formerly of Rutland, will officiate.
The body will be at his home, where friends may call.

He married May Williams at the Bethesda Church, December 24th, 1891.
Beside his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert R. Jones, Poultney and Mrs. Earl Beebe of Fair Haven; two sons, John C. of West Hartford, Connecticut and Ivor of Springfield, Massachusetts, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday at the Welsh Presbyterian Church at 2:30 p.m.. The Rev. D. C. Davies of Waterville, New York, a former pastor of this church officiating, assisted by the Rev. John D. Owens of Fair Haven. Evan G. Williams rendered two solos.
The bearers were: Richard G. Williams, Evan H. Jones, John W. Owens, William W. Hughes, Rowland Whittington and David Hughes.
Burial was in Poultney Cemetery.
