WILLIAM RICHARD GRIFFITH. WEST PAWLET RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.

William Richard Griffith, 75, died at his home in West Pawlet Wednesday morning. He had been a resident of West pawlet for the past 68 years.

He was born in Wales on April 20th, 1878. He married Edith Filer, who died in May, 1940.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Edris Jones of West Pawlet, two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Roberts of Granville and Mrs. Charles Harrington of hartford; two granschildren, Ruth and Carol Jones. A daughter, Beatrice, died in 1916.

The body is at the McHenry and Roberts funeral home where friends may call Thursday and Friday from 2-5 and 7-9. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Jack Clark, pastor of the West Pawlet United Church will officiate.

Internment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Pawlet.

Funeral services for William R. Griffith, who passed away at his home in West Pawlet last Wednesday, April 29th, were conducted from the McHenry and Roberts Funeral Homes on Saturday, May 2nd. Rev. Jack Clark of West Pawlet United Church officiated.

Bearers were nephews: Paul Harrington, Dwight Duel, Barden Nelson, Clarence Nelson, Merle Nelson and Frank Harrington.

Internment was at Mountain View Cemetery, West Pawlet.
