MRS. MARTHA JANE JONES, ROME, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
Mrs. Martha J. Jones. 72, passed away Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Horace. J. Law, 737 W. Thomas Street.Although Mrs. Jones had been ailing for some time her passing came unexpectedly.
Martha Jane Jones was born in Penygroes, Carvarnonshire, North Wales, on Sept 1st, 1880. daughter of David and Jane Jones. On March 30, 1906, in Carnarvon. North Wales, she was married to John O. Jones who passed away April 29, 1943.
Mrs Jones was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Ceridwen Lodge of the American Order of True Ivorites and the Independent Order of Foresters.
Surviving are three other daughters, Miss Gladys Jones and Mrs C Russell Ferguson, Rome, and Mrs Owen D. Mills, Sherman Oaks, California, a sister Mrs Robert W Thurman, North Wales.
