GORONWY OWEN EDWARDS. CATHERINE JANE OWENS. SYRACUSE, ONONDAGA, NEW YORK.
He was born in Bethel, Caernarvonshire, North Wales, the son of Hugh and Catherine Owens Edwards.He came to the U.S. in 1879 with his family and to New York Mills in 1889.
On June 21, 1899, he married the former Alice Hughes in New York Mills. She died in 1945.
In 1946 he married Mary Williams of Utica. He leaves his wife; a daughter, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Healey; two grandsons, Alan and Gary Healey, all of New York Mills; two brothers, Lewis Edwards, Marcy and John Edwards, New York Mills and four sisters, Mrs. Henry Ladue, Cleveland; Mrs. Thomas Tyler, Syracuse; Mrs. Harry Webster, Utica and Mrs. Thomas Stockton, New York Mills.
