Emlyn L. Williams passed away Sunday, April 25th at 5 p.m. at his home in College Point, Long Island.Funeral services were conducted from the Welsh Presbyterian Church in New York City on Wednesday, April 28th at 8 p.m. Rev. John M. Owen officiated. Services were conducted also by the Glyndwr Lodge of the ivorites. Honorary bearers were members of St. David's Society of New York.
Internment was in Mettowee Cemetery in Granville on Friday, April 29th at 3 p.m. with Rev. R. W. Evans officiating at the grave.
Bearers were Harry K. Williams, David H. Jones, Arfon Jones and Idris P. Jones. David Jones and Idris P. Jones sang at the grave.
Emlyn Williams was born at Dinorwig, North Wales, the son of Ann Williams Jones. He was a veteran of both World Wars. He will be remembered as a frequent visitor at the home of Mrs. Humphrey Griffiths and the late Mr. Griffiths, and at the home of Mrs. Rowland Jones and the late Mr. Jones. He was formerly employed by the Elizabeth Arden Co. for 27 years. He made his home with Mrs. Margaret Griffiths.
