DAVID D. GRIFFITH. CLINTON, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.

David D. Griffith, 82, of 2100 Holland Ave., died Sept. 14, 1955 at his home after a brief illness.

Born April 13th, 1873 in Nebo, Carnarvonshire, North Wales, son of David and Margaret Roberts Griffith, he married the former Emily Edwards, October 1905 in Wales. The couple came to Utica in 1906. She died in 1954.

For several years he was employed by the Horrocks Ibbotson Co. retiring in 1951. He was a member of Moriah Presbyterian Church and of the St. David Society. The couple's son, Assembly man Richard R. Griffith, died January 20th, 1951.

Surviving are one daughter, Miss Margaret Griffith, Utica; one son, Thomas A. Griffith, Birmingham, Michigan; five grandchildren and several relatives in Wales.

The funeral will be at 10 Saturday from the Gordon Funeral Home, 6 Steuben Park, the Rev. R. Glynee (sic) Lloyd D. D. officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Gardens.
