Mrs. Kate P. Williams, 83, of 1219 Howard Ave., a resident of Utica since 1911, died March 6th, 1959, in her home after a brief illness.She was born December 14th, 1875, in Gerddu-Rhosgadfan, Caernarvonshire, North Wales, daughter of Owen and Margaret Jones Pritchard.
She was married to John H. Williams, December 4th, 1897.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Moriah Presbyterian Church and its Missionary Society.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Albert R. Woodard; two sons, Owen J. and Hugh H., all of Utica; two sisters, Miss Esther Pritchard and Mrs. Alice Hughes, both of Liverpool, England; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be at 2 Monday from the Williams Funeral Home, the Rev. R. Glynne Lloyd, Ph.D., pastor of Moriah Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
