Mrs. Ellen G. Edwards, 77, of 42 Spring Street, Ilion, an employee of the Remington Rand Co. for 37 years, died at Ilion Hospital, August 20th.She was born in Bethesda, North Wales and came to this country in 1910.
She was married to Robert W. Edwards who died in 1948.
Mrs. Edwards was a member of the Ilion Methodist Church, its Delta Alfa class and WSCS and of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a charter member of the Remington Rand 25 year club.
She leaves a sister, Mrs. James A. Roberts, of Granville and a brother, William Thomas, also of Granville. A son, William R. Edwards of Little Falls died in 1951. Also surviving are a nephew, William D. Thomas of Levit-town, Pennsylvania, two grandchildren, David and Denise Edwards of Little Falls and Raymond G. Potter.
