ARTHUR HENDERSON JONES. NEWPORT, HERKIMER COUNTY, NEW YORK.

Arthur Henderson Jones, 71, of 1604 Miller Street, died yesterday in Faxton Hospital.

Mr. Jones was born in Talysarn, North Wales, and moved to new York City with his family in 1914 and to Utica in 1916. He married Elizabeth E. Jones in 1922.

For 32 years, he had been employed in the machine shop of the former Foster Brothers. He retired in 1957.

Mr. Jones was a member of Moriah Presbyterian Church. For several years he was president of the union at Foster Brothers.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Arthur H. Jones of Whitesboro, and a brother, Ednyfed H. Jones of Newport.

The funeral will be Wednesday at the convenience of the family from the Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth E. Roach, pastor of Plymouth - Bethesda United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be from 7 to 9 tomorrow night.
