MARY JONES WATKINS. UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
Mrs. Mary LaBelle, 77, 32 Faxton Street, a member of the Willing Workers Society and Gwenfron Lodge, AOTI, died Saturday in Faxton Street Home.Born in North Wales, she was the daughter of Griffith and Ellen Davies Jones.
She married William Watkins in Wales in 1904. They went to Oriskany Falls in 1906 before moving to Utica. Mr. Watkins died in 1939.
In 1943, she married to Mr. Henry LaBelle in Pennsylvania.
She was a member of Moriah Presbyterian Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Evan M. Watkins, Yorkville; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Davies and Mrs. Jeanette Miller, both of Utica, and two brothers, Hugh Jones, Oneida and William Jones Utica.
Funeral services will be at 10.30 Wednesday from the Surridge and Roberts Memorial Chapel with the Rev. R. Glynne Lloyd, Moriah Presbyterian Church pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
