HUGH HENRY WILLIAMS. UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
Hugh H. Williams, 63, 406 Main Street, Oneonta, formerly of 1219 Howard Avenue, of Williams Associates Inc., died yesterday in an Oreonta hospital. He was born in Rhosgadfan, North Wales. He came to Utica in 1910. He married Marguerite A. Philo in 1934. Mr. Williams was engaged in the insurance business for 45 years. He was vice president of Cantwell and Bromley for 20 years. In 1950 he started his own business. He became associated with the Williams Associates Inc., 287 Genesee Street in 1963. He retired two years ago. He was a member of Moriah Presbyterian Church and Goronwy Lodge, OATI. Mr. Williams also was a member of the BPO Elks Lodge. Besides his wife he leaves a son, Brian H. and a sister Mrs. Albert R. (Margaret) Woodward, both of Utica. A brother, Owen J. Williams died July 25th.Utica Observer-Dispatch ~ Tuesday September 7th 1965.

Hugh H. Williams, 63, of 406 Main Street, a retired insurance executive, was stricken fatally yesterday while driving in downtown Oneonta.Firemen said he had halted his car near Main and Market streets, while outward bound in Main Street.
Mr. Williams was pronounced dead on arrival at Fox Memorial Hospital, apparently of a heart attack, firemen said.
He had lived here since his retirement as vice-president of Williams Associates, a Utica insurance firm, about two years ago.
A native of Caernarvonshire, Wales, Mr. Williams was born April 7th, 1902, son of John and Katherine Williams.
He married Marguerite A. Philo in Utica in 1934.
Mr. Williams was a member of the Utica Elks Club and the Order of True American Ivorites, a Welsh organisation in Utica.
Services will be held at the Williams Funeral Home, 1115 West Street, Utica, at 11 a. m. Thursday by Dr. Glynne Lloyd of Moriah Presbyterian Church, Utica.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Utica.
