Owen J. Jones, 83, formerly of 111 4th Street, Slatington, a retired Slatington, died Saturday in Elizabethtown Masonic Home.

Born in Wales, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Owen Jones. He came to Slatington at the age of 15.

He was the husband of the late Edith (Jones) Jones.

Jones was a member of First Baptist Church, Slatington.

There are no immediate survivors.
