Services for Robert O. Roberts, a former Wind Gap resident, were held this week at Schenectady, New York.Roberts, 73, of Ballston Spa, New York, died may 25, in the Albany Veterans Hospital.
He was a retired employee of General Electric Company in Schenectady.
Born in North Wales, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Roberts. He came to the United States in 1906 and was a veteran of World War I.
He was a deacon at Glenville Church in Schenectady and also served as its choir leader.
Surviving with his widow, Isabelle (Jones) Roberts, are a step-daughter; four brothers, William H. Roberts of Bethleham, Dr. E. Llewelyn Roberts, Pasadena, California, P. Eugene Roberts, Drexel Hill, and Bert Roberts, North Wales; three sisters, Mary and Ellis Roberts, both of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Julius Meyer, Calderville, New Jersey and a step grand-child.
