SAMUEL WILLIAMS. UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.

Solomon Williams, 115 Louisa St., a retired motorman for the Utica Transit Corp., died yesterday in a local hospital.

He was born in Llanengan, Abersoch, North Wales. He came to Utica in 1912.

He retired several years ago. He married Edith Williams in 1925 in Utica. He was a member of the Plymouth-Bethesda United Church of Christ.

Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Lillian) Hamlin, Annandale, Va., and Mrs. Robert (Anne) Ferguson, Utica; a son, Idwal Williams, Utica; a sister, Mrs. Mary Williams and two brothers, Hugh and David Williams, all of Aberystwyth, North Wales.

The funeral will be at 11 Monday from the Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth E. Roach, pastor of the Plymouth-Bethesda Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
