THOMAS JOHN WILLIAMS. NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK.

Thomas J. Williams, 86, died Tuesday morning in Memorial Hospital, Albany. He was born in Carmel, Caernarvonshire, North Wales, and for many years resided in West Pawlet, Vermont, where he was employed as a slate maker. Since 1942 he has resided in Albany and spent considerable time at the home of his son, John Closs Williams, 38 Sheridan Street, Glens Falls.

Besides his son, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph F. Murphy od Albany; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Marshall W. Tebbuttss' Sons Funeral Home, 633 Central Avenue, Albany, by the Rev. John Robertson of Granville. Internment will be Thursday at 1 p.m., in Mountain View Cemetery, West Pawlet, Vermont.

Friends may call at the funeral home anytime after 5 p.m. today.
