JANE WILLIAMS JONES. UTICA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK.
Mrs. Jane W. Jones, 80, of Faxton Street Home, formerly of 1638 Wesley Avenue, widow of John D. Jones, died June 11th, in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center.She was born in Blaenau Festiniog, North Wales, daughter of Robert O. and Elizabeth Williams. She attended schools in Wales. She came to America in 1914, and to Utica from Pennsylvania in 1915. She was married to Mr. Jones in 1924. He died in 1949.
Mrs. Jones was an employee of Utica State Hospital for 28 years. She was a member of Plymouth-Bethesda United Church of Christ.
She leaves two sons, Robert O. Williams, Whitesboro and David J. Williams, Clinton; two sisters Mrs. Helen Stokes, London, Engalnd and Mrs. Elizabeth Broome of Rhyl, North Wales.
Two brothers Owen Williams, Rone, New York and Robert O. Williams of Rapelje, Montana.
The funeral will be tomorrow at the convenience of the family from the Surridge and Roberts Memorial Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill, Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please consider Faxton House. There are no calling hours.
