William R. Williams, 67, of 4 Elm Street, Granville, died Saturday morning at his home after a long illness.He was born in Festiniog, North Wales, February, 7th, 1901, and was a member of Granville Lodge 55. F. and A.M., a deacon of the Granville Hook and Ladder Company.
Surviving are his wife, Myfanwy Evans Williams; three sons, Gordon S, Granville; J. Raymond, Hudson Falls and Kenneth D. Fayetteville; two sisters, Mrs. William Lyons and Mrs. Dorothy Scully of Lynwood, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Meric and Elwyn Williams, Lynwood, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Robert M. King Funeral Home by the Rev. Arthur Weisser, pastor of the Granville Baptist Church. Internment was in Mettowee Valley Cemetery.
