JANE C. WILLIAMS JONES. POULTNEY, RUTLAND COUNTY, VERMONT.
POULTNEY - Mrs. Jennie C. Williams Jones, 75, wife of Robert R. Jones, died early Sunday morning at Rutland Hospital after a short illness.Mrs. Jones was born in Bethesda, North Wales, March 24th, 1894, daughter of Thomas C. and Mary (Williams).
She was a member of the Poultney Presbyterian Church, the Willing Workers, and the Evergreen Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Jones had lived in Poultney for several years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Rodman R. Jones of Poultney; one sister, Mrs. Earl Beebe, and one brother, John C. Williams, both of Fair Haven; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Poultney Presbyterian Church. The Rev. George Greenough will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in Poultney Cemetery. Friends may call at the Roberts-Lantman Funeral Home Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Evergreen Chapter members will meet at the funeral home Monday at 8.45 p.m. to conduct the Star Service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church memorial in Mrs. Jones' memory.
