MARY ELLEN THOMAS. JEFFERSON VALLEY, NEW YORK.
Mrs. Mary Ellen Williams Thomas, 86, widow of Ednyfed Thomas, died Thursday morning at the community hospital at Carmel, New York, after a long illness.She and her husband lived for many years at South Poultney. After the death of her husband she went to live with her son, Thomas W. Thomas, at Beth Page, New York. Upon his death, she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Richard J. Roberts of Jeffersonville, New York.
Mrs. Thomas was born in North Wales on September 11th, 1884, and came to this country as a child.
In addition to her daughter she is survived by three grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Poultney Cemetery. The Rev. Andrew Danzer, pastor of the Baptist Church at Granville, New York will conduct the burial rites.

Mrs. Mary Ellen Thomas, 86, widow of Ednyfed Thomas, of 21, Pike Place, Jefferson Valley, died April 29th in Putnam Community Hospital after a long illness.She was born September 11th, 1884, in Carnarvon, Wales, daughter of Thomas and Jane Humphreys Williams. She had lived in Jefferson Valley nine years. Mrs. Thomas is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ceridwen Roberts of Jefferson Valley.
Graveside services were conducted by the Rev. Andrew Dancer of the Granville Baptist Church at Poultney Cemetery in Poultney, Vermont.
