WILLIAM ROGERS. GRANVILLE, WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEW YORK.
William Rogers, 86, a summer resident of Granville, died Sunday, August 19th, 1973 in Mercy Hospital in Miami, Florida.He was born February 26th, 1887, in Penygroes, North Wales and was the son of William and Jane Rogers Roberts. He was employed for a short time by Consolidated Edison of New York City.
Survivors include his wife, Helen (Williams) Rogers of Miami Florida; a brother, Richard Rogers of Binghamton; seven nieces and seven nephews.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, August 24th at the Robert M. King Funeral Home by the Rev. Larry Page.
Internment was in the Mettowee Valley Cemetery.
